KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Memphis women's soccer was tabbed the No. 4 team in the nation by United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday afternoon, marking the highest ranking in the program's history.

The Tigers are 13-0-2, one of two unbeaten teams in the country along with top-ranked Notre Dame. Their 7-0-1 conference record was enough to clinch the American Conference regular season title with two games to play following a 5-0 win over East Carolina.

The program's prior top ranking in the USC poll came in November 2011, the only year in which Brooks Monaghan's squad went through the entire regular season and conference tournament unbeaten, and the year of their first NCAA Tournament victory. The Tigers were slotted as high as No. 7 in 2024 and No. 8 in 2023.

At present, Memphis ranks second nationally in win rate (.933), and goals-against average (0.40) while tying for fourth in goal differential (+33).
