Maria Trivelpiece and Kyle Youmans discuss Week 8 of American Football and look ahead to Week 9.
 
Last week was rivalry week in the American and it was highhlighted by UAB taking the victory over Memphis in the Battle for the Bones. Leds by American Offensive PLayer of the Week Iverson Hooks and Backup Quarterback Ryder Burton UAB stunned Memphis wth a 31-24 win. The Blazers earned there first conference win of the season and interim head coach Alex Mortenson's 1st career win.
 
South Florida kept rolling as the won there instate battle with Florida Atlantic 48-13 taking care of business this week before there big matchup against Memphis in what should be one of the games of the year across the conference.
 
A late rally by Tulane kep the Green Wave's undefeated conference record alive as they scored 14 points in the last 2 minutes to defeat Army. Tulane Sports Newtwork Sideline Reporter Maddy Hudake joins the shwo to discuss the comeback and what it is ahead for the Green Wave the rest of the season.
 
They also discuss big wins by North Texas who bounced back in a big way dominating UTSA in "Battle of the Birds". Temple which was Head Coach K.C. Keeler's 27th in his career moving him to top 20 all-time in college football. Along with a big win by East Carolina at home in their Night at the Boneyard Jerseys which may be featured in another segment in the show as well.
 
They look ahead to this week with all the big matchups highlighted by South Florida at Memphis. Along with Florida Atlantic at Navy, UConn at Rice, North Texas at Charlotte and Temple at Tulsa.
 
One of the heroes of UAB's win over Memphis in Quarterback Ryder Burton joins the show to discuss the whirlwind week that was last week. He discusses how he found out about being the starter this week and what his paretns had to do to get to Birmignham for the game. Along with how the team rallied around Interim Head Coach Alex Mortenson and the matra they had all week leading into the game. Along with what he believes the team is capaable of doing the rest of the season.
 
Kyle and Maria then blind rank the best black uniforms worn by American schools this season. They discuss why certain jerseys are better than others from ones with sleek designs to ones for good causes and more.
 
They end the show when they break down top plays across the American. This weeks selections include great special teams plays, incredible footwork and headers on the soccer pitch, dynamite throws and grabs on the gridiron. With all those great plays number 1 this week is just a moment you have to see to believe that left even one of the players involved stunned by what happened.
