IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly women’s soccer honors for the 10th week of the 2025 season.
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Evie Craven, Jr., F, Charlotte
Craven tallied two goals for the week in a pair of wins for the 49ers. The junior scored what ended up as the game-winning goal in the 12th minute in a 3-1 win over Florida Atlantic and followed up with a 76th-minute goal in a 4-0 win over Tulsa.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Laura Cate Westerbeek, Sr., D, Charlotte
Westerbeek led the 49er defense to a pair of wins while only allowing one goal. The 49ers allowed four shots on target in a 3-1 win over Florida Atlantic on Thursday and allowed five shots on goal in a 4-0 shutout of Tulsa.
 
Goalkeeper of the Week
Tamsin Bynoe, Jr., Temple
Bynoe recorded seven saves in a 1-0 shutout of UAB on Thursday, the first conference win for the Owls since 2021.
 
Freshman of the Week
Chloe Salisbury, D, Charlotte
Salisbury helped the 49er defense to a pair of wins and only allowing one goal. The freshman played 109 minutes over the two matches.
 
Honorable Mention
Harlee Head, R-Jr., GK, Charlotte
Head recorded three saves in a 3-1 win over Florida Atlantic and five saves in a 4-0 shutout over Tulsa.
 
Isabella Gutierrez, Sr., M, East Carolina
Gutierrez provided an assist in a 1-1 draw with South Florida on Thursday, and added a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over UTSA.
 
Hicks Bishop, So., GK, North Texas
Bishop made two saves in a 1-1 draw with South Florida and recorded four saves in a 1-0 shutout over Florida Atlantic.
 
Peyton Renfro, Sr., F, North Texas
Renfro scored a goal in the Mean Green’s 1-1 draw with South Florida.
 
Linnea Nestor, Jr., F, South Florida
Nestor scored a goal in a 1-1 draw with North Texas on Thursday, while also providing an assist against UAB on Sunday.
