Charlotte, Missouri State, Tulsa Earn Final Men's Soccer Weekly Honors

IRVING, Texas  The American Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s soccer awards for the week ending Sunday, November 2.
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Natsuki Ogata, Jr., F, Charlotte
Ogata scored three goals on the week (2 vs Temple, 1 vs Missouri State) to help the 49ers clinch a share of the American Regular Season Championship and the No. 1 overall seed in the American Men’s Soccer Championship.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Jemone Barlcay, Sr., D, Charlotte
Barclay anchored the back line for the 49ers that allowed just four shots on goal in two matches.
 
Goalkeeper of the Week
Carlito Saylon, So., Tulsa
Saylon finished with 10 saves in two matches, helped Tulsa clinch the final spot in the American Men’s Soccer Championship.
 
Freshman of the Week
Harry Hogben, Fr., D, Missouri State
Hogben anchored the backline for the Bears that allowed just five shots on goal in two matches to help Missouri State clinch the No. 5 seed in the American Men’s Soccer Championship.
 
Honorable Mention
Francisco Ranieri, Jr., GK, UAB
Francisco finished with four saves in a pair of 2-0 wins over FIU and Temple.
 
Lucas Rizzo, Jr., F, UAB
Rizzo scored a brace in the 2-0 win over Temple.
 
Sebastian Zettle, Sr., M, Florida Atlantic
Zettle assisted on game tying goal and scored the game winning goal in 4-3 win at South Florida
 
Daniele Verdirosi, Sr., F, Missouri State
Verdirosi scored the penalty kick to score the first goal in a come-from behind 2-2 draw against Charlotte.
