IRVING, Texas – Tulane will host North Texas in the 2025 American Football Championship presented by LLH Healthcare on Friday, December 5 at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central. The game will be televised live on ABC for the 11th consecutive season.

Coverage will begin on ESPN+ with the American Football Championship presented by LLH Healthcare Pregame Show at 7 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. Central.

Tulane clinched a berth in the championship game with a 27-0 win against Charlotte on Saturday, capping a 7-1 season in conference play. North Texas, also 7-1 in American action, advanced to the title game with a 52-25 victory over Temple on Friday. North Texas held the head-to-head tiebreaker over Navy, which also finished 7-1 in conference play, with a 31-17 Mean Green win during the regular season.

Tulane’s Yulman Stadium will be host of the American’s title game for the third time in four seasons, while the Green Wave will be competing in the championship game for the fourth consecutive season.

The Green Wave have won the previous three meetings between the two programs, including a 45-37 win on Oct. 26, 2024 in Denton, Texas.
