All American Week 11!

Maria Trivelpiece and Kyle Youmans break Week 10 of American Football and look ahead to Week 11.

They look at crazines that are the American Conference Standings as 6 teams have 1 loss heading into the final 4 weeks of the season. They discuss how it all may shake out as some of those teams will play each other and make the conference title picture clearer in the final few weeks of the season.

Last Saturday featured the onfly matchup across college football between two 7-win teams in Navy and North Texas. The Mean Green showcased why the are one fo the best teams in the American defewating Navy 31-17. Led by running back Caleb Hawkins career day with 197 yards and 4 touchdowns the Mean Green handed the midshipment their first loss of the season. They look ahead at North Texas' final 3 games of the season and why they are heavy favorite to finish the seaosn 11-1 ane be right there in the race to the conference championhip game.

Furter south in Texas the Alamodome was once again a UTSA fortress as the Roadrunners dominated Tulane by a score of 48-26. The win marked Jeff Traylor's 50th at UTSA and the roadrunners moved to 22-0 under Traylor in regular season conference home games. Owen McCown led the way throwing for 370 yards and 4 tochdowmns will only throwing 2 incompletions. Following their best game of the season UTSA now looks ahead to thursday when they travel to Tampa to face off agains South Florida. 

Memphis once again proved why they are one of the best in the American in their dismantling of Rice 38-14 higlighted by the dominant Tigers defense. Memphis looks ahead to a schedule where face 3 of the 5 other 1 loss teams in the American the rest of the way. So what the Tigers do the next few weeks will determine a lot in the conference chamionship race. They look ahead to Tulane on Friday and the keys for that game for both teams in what should be a great matchup as it has been the last few years between the Green Wave and Tigers. 

If there was ever a team lurking this season in the American it might be East Carolina. Now 5-3 and 3-1 in conference play the Pirates dismantled Temple last weekend 45-14. The Pirated put up 614 yards of total offense in route to the win. They now look to continue there play of late when Charlotte comes to Greenville for an in-state rvalry this Saturday .

A physical game with a dramatic ending took place in Colorado Springs and now the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy will come down to Army-Navy in December. Army walked off Air Force as time expired to win 20-17. The Black Knights found a way to win and now will look ahead to their game against Temple this week. They discuss the biggest key in that game in Army foercing turnovers against a team that does not turn it over in the Owls.

They look ahead to all the actiojn this week highlighted conference games across the board exept for one which is one of the great rivalries in the country that maybe isn't talked about in Navy vs Notre Dame. They also preview UAB-Rice and Tulsa-Florida Atlantic while looking at the whole schedule for week 11

They end the show with top plays across the American. This weeks selections include great goals on soccer pitch from long distance. Including one that helped South Florida qualfiy for the conference tournament. They also have some highlights from the gidiron with some trickeration on a lateral and one wid receiver pass that was just a dime of a throw. The top play of the week takes it back to Denton for one-handed interception that was quite impressive.
