KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Memphis head women's soccer coach Brooks Monaghan and his staff were named South Region Staff of the Year for the fourth consecutive year by United Soccer Coaches on Thursday.

Monaghan – along with associate head coaches Jonny Walker and Rocky Sasitharan and assistant coach Ted Bartels – guided the Tigers to a 17-1-3 record, the second most single-season wins in school history. They reached as high as No. 3 in the national rankings and won a third consecutive regular season American Conference championship.

One of two staffs to earn the honor in 2024 and 2025 (Utah State), Memphis put a conference-record 12 student-athletes on the American Conference postseason teams, including five on the All-Conference First Team. They also produced two All-Americans, including first-team member Finley Lavin, the third in program history.

Monaghan, with a record of 329-152-44, is 34th all-time in division-I wins and 21st among active coaches. Memphis' 117 wins since 2018 is the sixth-most of any program in that time frame.
