IRVING, Texas – Tulsa’s Luke Adams and South Florida’s Jahiem Wickham were both selected in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft on Thursday afternoon.
Both Adams and Wickham are headed to Charlotte after being selected by Charlotte FC. Adams was taken in the second round with the 52nd overall pick, while Wickham followed in the third round as the 82nd overall selection.
Adams was an integral part of the Golden Hurricane defense, anchoring the back line in 13 matches during the season. He was named the 2025 American Conference Defensive Player of the Year after starting all eight conference matches and helping Tulsa record four clean sheets in league play.
Wickham was a force in goal for the Bulls, earning 2025 American Conference Goalkeeper of the Year honors. The redshirt junior started all 16 matches for South Florida and led the conference with 54 total saves.
