IRVING, Texas - Tulane has been selected as the No. 11 seed for the 2025 College Football Playoff. The Green Wave become the second team from the American to earn a spot in the CFP, joining Cincinnati in 2021.

Tulane will face No. 6 seed Ole Miss in the first round in Oxford, Miss., on Saturday, December 20 at 3:30 p.m. Eastern/2:30 p.m. Central on TNT and HBO Max.

Indiana was selected as the No. 1 seed and earned a first-round bye alongside No. 2 Ohio State, No. 3 Georgia and No. 4 Texas Tech.

The other first-round matchups are No. 12 James Madison at No. 5 Oregon, No. 10 Miami at No. 7 Texas A&M and No. 9 Alabama at No. 8 Oklahoma.

The remaining American Conference bowl pairings will be announced later Sunday.
