The North Texas women's basketball team (17-7, 9-3 AAC) defeated Tulane, 69-64, Sunday at the Super Pit in front of a national audience on ESPNU.
 
In the program's first ever game on national television, the Mean Green's victory tied a record for most home wins in a season with Sunday being their 12th win at The Pit this season.
 
Desiree Wooten led the team in points with 16, notably going 4-4 from the free throw line. Ereauna Hardaway followed with 15 points, hitting three 3-pointers to tie her single-game high. Tommisha Lampkin also reached double figures before fouling out as each of UNT's three forwards available Sunday fouled out.
