Temple women's basketball (14-10, 8-5 The American) defeated the UAB Blazers (15-10, 6-7 The American), 63-53, in front of 1,319 fans Tuesday evening at the Liacouras Center. Jaleesa Molina led the Owls in scoring with a career-high-tying performance of 17 points while earning her fifth double-double this season.

Jade Weathersby led the Blazers with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Molly Moffitt added 10 points. The Owls outrebounded the Blazers 48-36.
