The Temple Owls defeated Memphis on Wednesday morning during The American Showcase game on National Women and Girls in Sports Day.  The Owls won 74-66 as four players reached double-figures.  Elsewhere, Tulsa defeated Charlotte 81-53, Wichita State took down Florida Atlantic 54-44, East Carolina defeated UAB 61-56 and Tulane defeated Rice 78-67.
