Memphis will be the No. 1 seed for the 2025 American Men's Basketball Championship and at least a share of the regular season championship with a 75-70 win over UTSA on Tuesday, March 4. It is the Tigers' first regular season title as part of The American. 

The 2025 American Men's Basketball Championship takes place March 12-16 with the first-round game taking place at the Super Pit in Denton, Texas, and the remainder of the tournament being held at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
