American Conference Announces 2025-26 Women’s Basketball Schedule Pairings

IRVING, Texas  The American Conference has announced the women’s basketball league schedule pairings for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
 
Each team in the American will play a total of 18 conference games. The format includes six opponents played twice — once at home and once on the road — and the other six opponents played once, with three games at home and three on the road.
 
The American was well represented in postseason play during the 2024–25 season, with five programs earning postseason bids. Defending conference champion South Florida earned the automatic bid to the NCAA Championship, UTSA competed in the Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT), while UAB, North Texas and Tulsa all participated in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT).
 
The complete 2025-26 women’s basketball composite schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date. Conference play begins on Tuesday, December 30 and will continue through the weekend of March 7.
