07.31.25

IRVING, Texas – Stephen Kittleman, a senior quarterback on the Tulsa football program, has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the American Conference Community Impact Award as chosen by members of the conference’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

The award recognizes a student-athlete who has made an impact in either the surrounding or campus community through service work. One student-athlete or group from each American member is eligible for nomination each academic year. The award includes a donation from the American in Kittleman’s name to the life skills program at Tulsa.

A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kittleman volunteered with multiple organizations in his hometown. As part of Tulsa’s Day of Service, he served at Common Good, helping children with schoolwork, participated in open gym activities and mentored them through positive interactions. At One Hope Tulsa, he helped construct a new playground to benefit local children and also volunteered with the John 3:16 Mission, serving as a host and waiter to support the organization’s outreach.

In addition, Kittleman served as President of Tulsa’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and is a four-time honoree on the American’s All-Academic Team. Kittleman graduated in May 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in finance and is currently pursuing an MBA.
