IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s soccer awards for the week ending Sunday, August 31.
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Elias Arsvoll, So., F, Charlotte
Elias scored three goals and had an assist in Charlotte’s 6-0 win over Queens.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Kevin Thallinger, Sr., D, Tulsa
Thallinger was instrumental in the Golden Hurricane 1-0 win over Central Arkansas, making a last second save from his defender position to prevent a goal.

Goalkeeper of the Week
Leo Stritter, Sr., GK, Charlotte
Stritter finished with 11 saves across two matches against Queens and High Point, spending all 180 minutes in goal.
 
Freshman of the Week
Jakob Auby, Fr., F, South Florida
Auby scored his first career goal in the 3-2 win over FGCU. His goal in the 83^rd minute was the game-winning goal for the Bulls.

Honorable Mention
Oliver Moller-Jensen, Jr., F, Florida Atlantic
Moller-Jensen scored the game-winning goal for the Owls with 49 seconds left against Jacksonville.
 
Eben McIntyre, R-Jr., F, Memphis
McIntyre scored the game-winning goal and logged an assist in Memphis’ win over Mercer.
 
Fabio Bozesan, Sr., F, South Florida
Bozerecorded two goals and an assist in two games or the Bulls.
 
Pedro Faife, Jr., M, South Florida
Faife scored the game tying goal and had the game-winning assist in the 3-2 win over FGCU.
 
Diego Dauzier, So., GK, Temple
Dauzier recorded his first clean sheet of his career, finishing with six saves in the 0-0 draw against No. 25 Dayton.
