South Florida's Enis, Florida Atlantic's Parker Earn Weekly Honors

IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly men’s basketball honors for the 15th week of the regular season.
 
Player of the Week
Wes Enis, Jr., G, South Florida
Enis averaged 21.5 points and 6.0 rebounds as the Bulls defeated Wichita State and Florida Atlantic on the road to solidify their lead in the American’s standings. The junior guard recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds against the Shockers on February 11 before dropping 27 points, including five 3-pointers, in an overtime win over the Owls.
 
Freshman of the Week
Josiah Parker, F, Florida Atlantic
Parker averaged 19.0 points and 10.0 rebounds in games against Rice and South Florida last week. The forward registered double-doubles in both games, including 25 points and 10 rebounds against Rice on February 11 before recording 13 points and 10 rebounds against the Bulls on February 15.
 
Honorable Mention
Jordan Riley, Sr., G, East Carolina
Averaged 20.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in two wins for the Pirates.
 
Trae Broadnax, Gr., G, Rice
Filled up the score sheet by averaging 23.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in two games.
 
Jamir Simpson, Gr., G, UTSA
Averaged 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists, including 20 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in the Roadrunners’ first conference win of the season.
 
Rowan Brumbaugh, R-Jr., G, Tulane
Dropped 28 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists over two wins for the Green Wave.
 
Kenyon Giles, Sr., G, Wichita State
Averaged 27.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals in a pair of Shocker contests.
