IRVING, Texas — The American Conference and Morgan & Morgan today announced Morgan & Morgan as the official law firm of the 2026 American Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, set for March 10-15, 2026, at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.
The partnership reflects the American’s continued strategy to align with nationally recognized brands that bring strong visibility, category leadership and meaningful engagement to the conference’s championship platforms. Through the relationship with Morgan & Morgan, America’s largest injury law firm, the American continues to expand the commercial growth and national profile of its marquee events while creating added value for member institutions, student-athletes and fans.
“We are proud to welcome Morgan & Morgan as an official partner of the American Conference Basketball Championships,” Commissioner Tim Pernetti said. “Morgan & Morgan is a nationally respected brand with a strong commitment to standing up for people and communities across the country. This partnership strengthens our championship platform and helps us continue building a bold, modern commercial strategy around the American.”
As the nation’s largest injury law firm, Morgan & Morgan has built a national reputation for fighting on behalf of individuals and families across the country. With attorneys licensed in all 50 states, the firm has recovered more than $30 billion for more than 700,000 clients while advancing its “For The People” mission across more than 50 practice areas, including national mass torts and class actions, labor and employment, product liability, and dangerous drugs. Founded in 1988 and now more than 1,000 attorneys strong, Morgan & Morgan combines national scale, broad legal experience, and a client-first philosophy as it continues to take on some of the world’s largest corporations and secure billions in complex national litigation.
“Morgan & Morgan is proud to serve as a sponsor of this year’s American Conference championship tournaments,” said Morgan & Morgan Managing Partner Dan Morgan. “Our firm has long believed in partnering with organizations and teams that champion and support college athletes. We are continually inspired by the determination, discipline, and dedication these young men and women demonstrate in representing their universities both on and off the court, and we look forward to an exciting tournament this year.”
The agreement was executed through American RISE Ventures, the conference’s business and innovation division, launched in May 2025 to lead revenue generation, sponsorship strategy, media rights, brand partnerships, technology, and emerging ventures. In its first 10 months, RISE has helped more than double the conference’s revenue over the previous year, reflecting the division’s strong early momentum and growing commercial impact. The Morgan & Morgan partnership is the latest example of RISE’s ability to secure high-impact relationships that strengthen the conference’s brand, expand revenue opportunities and create meaningful value for member institutions, student-athletes and partners alike.
“This partnership is another example of how the American is building high-value relationships around our championship events,” said Bryan Calka, chief commercial officer of American RISE Ventures. “Morgan & Morgan brings a powerful national presence, and this agreement creates strong visibility across one of our most exciting weeks of the year for our schools, student-athletes and fans.”
The agreement delivers a broad and visible tournament presence for Morgan & Morgan across both the men’s and women’s championships.
