PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Michael Senay, Fr., RHP, South Florida
Senay wins for the second consecutive week after nearly throwing a complete game shutout, pitching 8 2/3 innings allowing three hits, with one walk and nine strikeouts in a 2-0 win over Rice.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Drew Detlefsen, Sr, OF, UTSA
Detlefsen batted .750 (12-for-16) with seven runs scored, three doubles, one home run and five RBI. He had three multi-hit games, including a 5-for-5 game with a double and two RBI vs. Houston Christian. Detlefsen also posted two three-hit games in a series win over Florida Atlantic.
HONORABLE MENTION
Cale Stricklin, Jr., C, Charlotte
Hit .579 (11-for-19) with one double, two home runs, four runs scored, and 13 RBI, including a two-home run game with nine RBI.
Davin Whitaker, R-So., OF, East Carolina
Batted .538 (7-for-13) with four doubles, one home run, nine runs scored, and two RBI.
Nathan Earley, Sr., INF, South Florida
Earley went 4-for-9 (.444) with one double, one home run and six RBI.
Jason Wachs, So., OF, Tulane
Batted .400 (6-for-15) with two doubles, one triple, one home run, seven walks, eight runs scored, and four RBI.
Jude Abbadessa, Gr., RHP, Tulane
Earned two wins in relief, pitching 7 1/3 innings yielding five hits, one run, and two walks with six strikeouts.
