03.24.26

IRVING, Texas – For a second consecutive season, the American Conference will utilize TrackMan technology to enhance both umpire evaluation and the overall game experience. The technology will be implemented at all conference baseball games and the American Baseball Championship, with TrackMan serving as the exclusive tracking provider for the conference.

The American will leverage TrackMan’s in-game data and analytics to support coaches and staff through in-dugout tablets, while also using the technology as a key tool in training and evaluating umpires.

TrackMan uses patented Optically Enhanced Radar Tracking (OERT) to deliver precise data on every pitch from a single, compact system, capable of operating from backfields to the largest stadiums in the world.

TrackMan solutions include the world’s premier stadium tracking unit as well as a leading portable practice unit. The stadium system is widely adopted across American programs and is used by more than 385 colleges nationwide, while the portable unit is utilized by a majority of TrackMan customers.

In addition to the American, TrackMan technology is used by all 30 Major League Baseball teams, top amateur organizations and prominent collegiate summer leagues, and is embedded in more than 1,000 stadiums globally.
