East Carolina, Temple Earn Weekly Women's Lacrosse Honors

IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly women’s lacrosse honors: 
 
Attack Player of the Week 
Maya Koebke, Sr., Attack, East Carolina 
Koebke earns her first award of the season after setting school record for points (nine) and assists (six) with one caused turnover in win over William and Mary. 
 
Midfielder of the Week 
Kayla Wilkes, Sr., Midfielder, East Carolina 
Wilkes is also a first-time awardee after scoring two goals with one assist, six ground balls, four draw controls, four caused turnovers in wins over William & Mary and Old Dominion. 
  
Defensive Player of the Week 
Kaitlyn Stankavage, Sr., Defender, Temple 
Stankavage earns honors for the second time this season after tallying four ground balls, three draw controls, two caused turnovers in win over Vanderbilt. 
  
Goalkeeper of the Week 
Riley Horoshko, Sr., Goalkeeper, Temple 
Horoshko recorded 10 saves in win over Vanderbilt to earn honors for the fourth time this season. 
  
Freshman of the Week 
Brooke Mazzei, Fr., Midfielder, Temple 
Mazzei wins the honor for the second straight week and third time this season after scoring four goals with four ground balls, three caused turnovers in win over Vanderbilt. 
 
Honorable Mention 
Ava Bleckley, Jr., Defender, James Madison 
Bleckley had seven caused turnovers and two ground balls in win vs. Georgetown. 
 
Sofia Chepenik, R-Jr., Attack, South Florida 
Chepenik tallied nine points (six goals, three assists) with four ground balls and one draw control in matches against Florida and Charlotte. 
 
Emme Martin, So., Goalkeeper, Vanderbilt 
Martin made 21 saves in matches against Lindenwood and Temple. 
 
Gabby Putman, Fr., Midfielder, Vanderbilt 
Putman scored one goal with two assists, 11 draw controls, four ground balls, and two caused turnovers against Temple. 
 
Logan Risenhoover, Sr., Midfielder, Vanderbilt 
Risenhoover totaled eight points (seven goals, one assist) with two draw controls, three ground balls, and two caused turnovers in a pair of matches.
