IRVING, Texas - Temple tight end Peter Clarke was named the 2026 John Macket Award Preseason Watch List on Wednesday, announced by the National College Football Awards Association. The award is given annually to the nation's top collegiate tight end.

Clarke finished 2025 with 30 catches, 483 yards, and six touchdowns. His sixth touchdown catch of the season put him in first place in Temple history in touchdown receptions by a tight end. His 4-85-2TD performance against UMass earned him a spot on the Pro Football Focus Week 1 Team of the Week. The London product sits with nine career touchdown receptions and is two touchdowns away from breaking Randy Grossman's (10) record for touchdowns by a Temple tight end.
