IRVING, Texas — Three American Conference players have been named to the 2026 Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award Preseason Watch List, announced on Friday by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission. The trophy is presented annually to the top place-kicker in college football.
 
UAB's Jonah Delange makes the list after being a semifinalist in 2024. He backed up a strong debut season with another solid year, keeping his place atop the UAB record book as the school's most accurate career kicker. His 31 career field goals through two seasons rank 7th in Blazers history, and he's still on pace to become the first UAB kicker to complete a career without missing a PAT.
 
South Florida's Nico Gramatica took over full-time placekicking duties for the Bulls after spending his first year as the team's long-distance specialist. Across his two seasons, he has five made field goals from beyond 50 yards — already a program record. He made the 20-yard field goal as time expired to beat Florida 18-16 on the road.
 
Florida Atlantic's Collin Rogers, a 2024 semifinalist, returns to the list this year. A transfer from SMU, he arrives at Florida Atlantic with the most career points and second-most career field goals among active FBS kickers. In his last full season, he connected on seven field goals from 50 yards or longer.
