IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s soccer honors for the week ending on Sunday, September 20.
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Mikey Raggett, Jr., F, Charlotte
Raggett scored the game-winning goals in a pair of games, scoring in the game winner in the 79^th minute in a 2-1 win over Winthrop and finding the back of the net in the 89^th minute in a 1-0 win over UAB.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Finn Bauens, Gr., D, FIU
Bauens anchored the Panthers backline in a 1-0 shutout of Drake, allowing just three shots on goal in the win.
 
Goalkeeper of the Week
Carlito Saylon, Jr., GK, Tulsa
Saylong recorded a pair of clean sheets in draws at Lindenwood and South Florida. The junior recorded three saves in both matches.
 
Freshman of the Week
Ben Furlong, Fr., M, Missouri State
Furlong scored two goals on the week. His first came in a 3-3 draw against No. 16 Kansas City, before adding another goal in the 3-0 win at Temple.
 
Honorable Mention
Kevin Gorbell, Sr., D, Florida Atlantic
Scored the game-tying goal in the 84^th minutes in a 2-2 draw against Memphis.
 
Santi Possu, Gr., F, FIU
Scored the game-winning goal in the 73^rd minute in the 1-0 win over Drake.

Scored the opening goal in the 2-2 draw against Florida Atlantic.
