IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the weekly women’s soccer honors for the sixth week of the 2026 season.

Offensive Player of the Week
Hailey Santiago, Jr., F, Florida Atlantic
Santiago moved into a tie for the top spot in goals in the conference this season after scoring twice in a 3-2 Florida Atlantic comeback against Charlotte. Santiago found the opening FAU goal in the 48th minute before adding the equalizer in the 51st minute for Santiago’s ninth goal of the season over 10 matches.

Defensive Player of the Week
Yuna Nagata, So., M, Memphis
The Memphis defense posted a second straight shutout during a 2-0 conference win against Rice, limiting the Owls to five shots on goal during the victory. Along with playing the full 90 minutes in the defensive midfield, Nagata was credited with an assist on a Memphis insurance goal in the 81st minute.

Midfielder of the Week
Ai Kitagawa, Jr., Memphis
Kitagawa played the full 90 minutes and was tied for the Memphis lead with five total shot attempts in a 2-0 win against Rice. Kitagawa logged the second goal of the match for the Tigers in the 81st minute.

Goalkeeper and Freshman of the Week
Ana Zivkovic, Fr., Temple
Zivkovic earned a fifth solo shutout thus far this season as Temple opened conference play with a 2-0 clean sheet against UAB. Zivkovic turned away six shots during the match, including three stops in the second half to preserve the Temple advantage.

Honorable Mention
Evie Craven, Sr., F, Charlotte
Craven scored a pair of goals for Charlotte in a 3-2 setback against Florida Atlantic, finding the back of the net in the 13th and 32nd minutes for the first two goals of Craven’s 2026 season.

Abby Forsgren, M, Memphis
Forsgren scored the match-winning goal in the 21st minute and finished with three total shots (two on goal) in a 2-0 Memphis shutout of Rice.

Ava Galani, So., GK, Memphis
Galani was credited with four saves in a 2-0 Memphis clean sheet against Rice to open conference play, marking the third solo shutout of the season for Galani.

Payton Annis, So., F, UNT
Annis’ first goal of 2026 on a highlight reel free kick from outside the South Florida box in the 52nd minute tied the match and ultimately gave UNT a conference point following a 1-1 draw.

Presley Boyd, So., F, Tulsa
Boyd scored the opening goal in the 37th minute of the conference opener enroute to a 1-1 draw against East Carolina.
