Brianna Gladney joined the American Conference staff in September 2024 as Director of Basketball Operations and Sport Administration.
Gladney manages the overall management and administration of all of the conference’s basketball initiatives and programs, with a focus on regular season and conference championship operational policies.
Gladney additionally serves as the conference liaison with member schools for select Olympic sports, providing on-site supervision for conference championships, coordinating meeting agendas and process recommendations through the conference’s governance system for select sports.
Before coming to the American, Gladney had been the Associate Director of Athletics for Event Operations at the University of Nevada since 2022. She oversaw management and execution of all 18 of the Wolfpack's varsity sports and was the primary game manager for football operations and men's and women's basketball.
Gladney joined the staff at Nevada after serving as Associate Director of Game Operations at Duke from 2021-22. She was the Coordinator of Events at the Orange Bowl Committee for two years, from 2019-21, and was a Stadium and Game Operations Intern with the College Football Playoff from 2018-19.
Gladney holds an undergraduate degree from Xavier University, where she competed as a student-athlete in basketball. She earned an MBA from Florida.
