Chris Grey joined the American Conference staff in October of 2024 and was promoted to his current position of Assistant Commissioner of Content and Media Partnerships in February of 2025.
Grey serves as the primary administrative liaison with the American's television and multimedia partners and key stakeholders, with the responsibility of managing the daily execution and maximization of the conference's media partnerships and related linear and digital broadcast agreements. He develops and implements video content strategies across all of the conference's digital platforms to enhance fan engagement and generates creative assets and programmming to be used on the American's owned media and on ESPN in conference programming.
Grey came to the American from Conference USA, where he served as Assistant Commissioner of Video Services and Technology since 2021. In addition to his role as the creative lead for CUSA, Grey also was the conference's primary information technology strategist.
Grey spent five years as Director of Director Production with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment in Denver, where he was a liaison with Altitude TV on programming involving the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth and Altitude TV and Radio.
