Zach Fischer joined the American in 2023 and currently serves as Director of Broadcast Services and Studio Production.
Fischer develops original content and manges the live broadcasts of the American's content across various platforms to ensure a seamless, high-quality viewing experience. He coordinates and oversees all aspects of the conference's studio broadcasts, including the weekly All American program.
Fischer supports the overall management and facilitation of the American’s partnership with ESPN, including oversight of the conference’s programming and production requirements on ESPN+, while serving as a liaison between ESPN and The American’s member institutions.
Fischer came to the American staff after serving as Assistant Director, Video and Broadcasting at Tulane University since April of 2021.
Fischer has won two Sports Video Group College Sports Media Awards, both for outstanding live game production while at Tulane. Before joining the staff at Tulane, Fischer was Coordinator of Athletic Multimedia at Virginia Military Institute for nearly three years. He is a graduate of Temple University with a degree in media studies and production.
