IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the weekly women’s soccer honors for the 10th week of the season.
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Sadie Sider-Echenberg, Jr., M, South Florida
Sider-Echenberg scored twice in South Florida’s 2-1 win over North Texas on Sunday, October 20. Her goals came in the 12^th and 30^th minutes. She also drew a free kick on Thursday, October 17, that resulted in the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Temple.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Camber Hayes, Gr., D, Memphis
Hayes led the Tiger defense that only allowed one shot on goal in a 1-0 shutout win over Florida Atlantic on Sunday evening.
 
Goalkeeper of the Week
Emma Wakeman, Gr., Charlotte
Wakeman recorded a clean sheet with eight saves in a 2-0 win at Tulsa on Sunday.
 
Freshman of the Week
Addy Johnson, F, UTSA
Johnson scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-0 win over Temple on Sunday.
 
Honorable Mention
Jette Zimmer, Jr., F, UAB
Zimmer scored both goals for Blazers in a 2-2 draw at East Carolina on Sunday.
 
Macey Bader, Sr., F, Charlotte
Bader scored the insurance goal in the 87^th minute of a 2-0 win for the 49ers over Tulsa.
 
Sydney Smith, Gr., D, Charlotte
Smith scored the game-winning goal in the 45^th minute of a 2-0 win over Tulsa while leading the 49er defense to a shutout.
 
Ashley Henderson, So., F, Memphis
Henderson scored the game-winning goal in the 17^th minute of a 1-0 shutout at Florida Atlantic on Sunday.
 
Gentiana Fetaj, Jr., F/M, South Florida
Fetaj scored the game-winning goal in the 85^th minute of a 1-0 victory over Temple on Thursday.
