Highlights

-Freshman Christian Boorom scored the game-winning goal for SMU in the Mustangs' 2-1 victory over Cincinnati Saturday evening at Westcott Field. Top-seeded SMU will face No. 4 Tulsa in the American Championship semifinals next Friday, Nov. 13 in Tampa.

-Melvin Becket's first-half goal led second-seeded USF to a 1-0 win over Memphis Saturday in the quarterfinals of the American Athletic Conference Championship. USF takes on third-seeded UConn on Friday in semifinals action.

-UConn scored a season-best four goals en route to a 4-0 win over Temple Saturday night at Morrone Stadium. With the victory, the Huskies advance to The American Semifinals to take on second-seeded USF at Corbett Stadium in Tampa, Fla. on Nov. 13.

-Tulsa tied UCF, 2-2, but will advance to the American Athletic Conference Championship semifinals on a 4-2 shootout Saturday night at Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. Hadji Barry had both goals for the Knights.
