Joining Church on the 4x400m relay were Antaun Andrews, Lucas Miller and Chris Walker.

-  USF's Chelsea Francis and Matthew O’Neal won their respective events on Friday at the GVSU Holiday Open, the first track and field meet of the season for the Bulls. In her first collegiate meet, Francis, a freshman from Jacksonville, won the 60m dash in a time of 7:56 which ties for fifth all-time at USF. O’Neal, who holds the school-record in the event, won the triple jump by nearly six feet with a distance of 51-7.

- Temple earned first-place finishes in four events following its first meet of the indoor season. The Owls saw five personal records at Saturday's Fast Times Meet hosted by Lehigh, and at least one athlete in the top 10 in each of the nine events they participated in. In the 60 meter hurdles, freshman Sylvia Wilson opened the meet off with a first-place finish in the event after running a personal-best time of 8.71 seconds. Senior Bionca St. Fleur dominated the long jump, earning the gold in a field of 38 jumpers as she set a mark of 18' 10.50". In the triple jump, junior Sydnee Jacques finished in first place with a 38' 6.25" jump to top a group of 24 athletes. Fifteen Owls ran the 200 meter race, with five placing within the top 10 out of 78 total runners. Junior Kenya Gaston placed first with a time of 25.37 leading the Owls and the entire group.

- Tulane’s indoor track and field team kicked off their 2015-16 season at the BSC Panther Icebreaker at the Birmingham CrossPlex on Friday. Four event titles were claimed by the Green Wave, while three second-place finishes were posted by members of the squad. Freshman hurdler Jessica Duckett broke the previous school record of 8.85, set by Camilla Hatlen on Feb. 25, 2005 during the finals of the 60-meter hurdles. Duckett won the event title during the finals with a time of 8.62. Redshirt-senior Jasmine Blocker captured the 400 meter dash event title with a time of 54.78, a mark that is good for fifth-best in Tulane history. Senior sprinter Lilla McMillan broke the BSC Panther Icebreaker meet record, set by McMillan herself back in 2013, in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.24. McMillan captured the event title, and beat her nearest competitor in her heat by almost 0.4 seconds. Tulane’s two relay squads had strong days, as well.
