CINCINNATI (AP) -- Troy Caupain rebounded his missed shot and made a short jumper with 0.7 seconds left in overtime on Thursday night, rallying No. 24 Cincinnati to a 93-91 victory over Marshall.

The Bearcats (10-2) trailed by as many as 15 points in regulation and held the lead only briefly, 75-74 on Tre Scott's free throw with 2:49 left. A 3-pointer by Jacob Evans III off a Marshall turnover tied it at 80 and sent it to overtime.

Gary Clark led Cincinnati with 26 points and 10 rebounds.

Stevie Browning scored 28 points for Marshall (7-5) and made a career-high six 3s, leading a perimeter attack that took control at the outset. Marshall made five of its first six shots from beyond the arc -- each by a different player -- while pulling ahead 19-4.

The Thundering Herd made a season-high 14 3-pointers in the first half alone, taking a 50-38 lead to the locker room. Browning had 21 points in the half.

Marshall hasn't beaten a ranked team since its 75-71 win over West Virginia on Jan. 19, 2011.

Tulsa 74, Stephen F. Austin 51
HONOLULU (AP) -- Pat Birt made six 3-pointers and scored a season-high 20 points to lead Tulsa to a 74-51 victory over Stephen F. Austin on Thursday in the opening game of the Diamond Head Classic.

Jaleel Wheeler added 12 points and Will Magnay 11 for the Golden Hurricane (6-4), who shot 50 percent and were 11 of 21 from the arc in winning for the third time in four games.

The Lumberjacks (4-6), losers of three of their last four, were led by Dallas Cameron with a career-high 16 points with Leon Gilmore III adding 11 and TJ Holyfield 10. The Lumberjacks made just 4 of 19 from the arc and committed 17 turnovers.

Tulsa led by 15 at halftime behind 14 points from Birt. The Lumberjacks scored the first seven points of the second half but Tulsa responded with a 5-0 spurt and led by double figures thereafter.

East Carolina 76, Presbyterian 56
GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) -- Kentrell Barkley scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help lead East Carolina to a 76-56 win over Presbyterian on Thursday night.

B.J. Tyson hit 6 of 12 from the floor for 12 points and Caleb White and Jeremy Sheppard added 11 apiece for East Carolina (8-5). Raquan Wilkins added 10 points with seven boards.

The Pirates took control underneath, hauling down 40 rebounds while Presbyterian grabbed 31. East Carolina also scored 30 points in the paint while limiting the Blue Hose to 18. The Pirates garnered 19 points off turnovers and had 13 fast break points. Presbyterian got just six points off turnovers and picked up zero fast-break points.

White drilled a trey to start the second half and the Pirates sprinted to a 50-35 lead at the 12:45 mark.

Darius Moore hit 4 of 5 from distance to lead Presbyterian (4-7) with 16 points.

USF 81, Delaware 53
?TAMPA, Fla. -- Tulio Da Silva and Geno Thorpe scored 18 points each as USF led from start to finish and cruised past Delaware 81-53 on Thursday night.

The Bulls (6-5) jumped out to a 13-2 lead in the first four minutes of the game and led by as many as 29 before it was over. Bo Zeigler added 10 points as USF made 26 of 53 shots to finish at 49 percent -- though they were shooting 59 percent before halftime.

Ryan Daly scored 17 points with three 3-pointers to lead the Blue Hens (6-6) while Chivarsky Corbett added 15 points, also with a trio of 3s.

Temple 83, Yale 77
PHILADELPHIA -- Alani Moore II scored a career-high 26, Daniel Dingle added 19 and Temple held off Yale 83-77 on Thursday night.

The Owls (7-4) started hot from deep and finished strong at the line to defeat the Bulldogs (6-5) despite an off-night from leading scorer Obi Enechionyia. Enechionyia, who averages 17.6 points a game, went 1 of 11 from the field and finished with three points but grabbed 10 rebounds.

Moore had 15 points and Temple was 6 of 15 behind the arc in the first half -- but just 11 of 35 overall -- in building a 35-28 lead.

Dingle hit back-to-back treys and the Owls led by 12 early in the second half but Jordan Bruner made back-to-back buckets to cap an 8-0 burst as Yale closed within 48-43. Temple kept surging and Yale kept responding before the Owls made 11 of 12 free throws in the final 1:17.

Temple, 11 of 31 from deep, finished 28 of 30 from the line, outscoring Yale by a dozen.

Sam Downey, Miye Oni and Jordan Bruner had 15 points apiece for Yale with Downey adding a career-high 17 boards -- nine on the offensive end -- for his first double-double.
