Highlights

- The UCF women's track and field program earned 12 personal records and 18 top-eight finishes, including a pair of event titles, at the two-day Music City Challenge in Nashville, Tenn.

- In total for the weekend, Cincinnati's track and field team combined to record 27 personal-bests, 18 all-time UC Top 10 marks and two school records. The team had student-athletes competing at the SPIRE Division I Invitational in Geneva, Ohio, and the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.

- UConn men’s track and field team competed in its penultimate regular season meet when it participated in the Valentine Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 13 in Boston, Mass. The squad claimed two event titles as Oluwatosin Edwards won the weight throw with a 20.66m toss, and Selwyn Maxwell took first in the 60H (7.93).

- In the final meet prior to the indoor conference championship, the UConn women's track and field team competed at the unscored Valentine Invitational on Friday, Feb. 12 in Boston. Sarah Bowens won a gold medal in the long jump, with a 6.09m leap. Fellow senior Odrine Belot took second in the event, (6.01m) and followed up with a win in the triple jump (12.85m).

- True freshman Marcus McWilliams tied Houston's record in the men's 60-meter hurdles, with a time of 7.72 in the event semifinals at the Howie Ryan Invitational. McWilliams went on to place second overall and first among collegiate competitors in the final, with a time of 7.76. Junior distance runner Brian Barraza ran a 7:59.66 to set a new record in the 3000 meter run as the Houston Cougar men's and women's track and field team wrapped up competition at the Husky Classic and Don Kirby Invitational.

- The Memphis men's and women's track and field squads combined to post 14 total top-10 performances at the Music City Challenge, highlighted by LaForrest Church's first-place finish in the men's 800 meter run.

- USF men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Hoosier Hills Invitational in Bloomington, Ind., on Friday. The team took first place in three events, as Bruce Barclay, Dwight Davis and Chelsea Francis each won their event.

- The SMU women’s track and field team tallied six top-10 finishes at the Music City Classic. For the second-straight meet, junior Tochi Nlemchi finished first in the shot put with a 15.8-meter throw.

- Collecting 14 total personal records and three new school records at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, Temple women's track and field concluded its final regular indoor season meet. Freshman Sylvia Wilson bested her own personal and school record in the 60-meter hurdles, with a time of 8.47 to take first.

- Tulane women’s track and field team competed at the Samford Invitational and placed third out of 17 teams, with an overall score of 47 points. The team collected 11 top-10 finishes, including two first-place finishes by Lilla McMillan in the 200 meter and 400 meter.

- Over the weekend, The University of Tulsa indoor track and field team registered two second place finishes in the men's 5,00-meter run and the men's long jump as part of  Iowa State Classic, which was held at the Lied Recreation Center in Ames, Iowa. Bryce Robinson won the 200-meter dash in the Don Kirby Invitational, which was held at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M.
