Owls Post 4-0 Win Over Drexel

Temple moved to 5-5-1 on the year with a 4-0 shutout of Drexel Tuesday evening at the Temple Sports Complex. Goals scored by freshman Alan Camacho Soto, sophomore Thibault Candia, and redshirt senior Mark Grasela contributed to the victory.

Keys to the Match
>  Within 12 seconds of the opening kick, reigning American Athletic Conference Offensive Player and Rookie of the week Camacho Soto capitalized on a Drexel turnover and fired a shot into the net off the left post. Camacho Soto's fourth goal of the season gave Temple an early lead.
> In the 21st minute, Grasela gave Temple a two-goal lead. Off a corner kick from senior Divin Fula Luzolo, freshman Darri Sigthorsson collected the ball and passed it to Grasela who slid a shot into the net through a clump of players.
> Candia notched his fifth goal of 2017 in the 25th minute with help from junior Hermann Doerner. The sophomore took advantage of an open pocket left by the Dragons' defense.
> The Owls' final goal of the night was scored by Grasela in the 66th minute, earning his third of the season and his career. He was able to find a good shot off a cross from Albert Moreno.
