Highlights

• Austin Smythe scored the game-winning goal for Cincinnati in the 63rd minute as the Bearcats remained perfect at home with a 2-1 win over IUPUI Friday evening at Gettler Stadium. Cincinnati trailed 1-0 early in the second half before scoring back-to-back goals in the second period to take the lead and win the game.

• Christian Boorom and Garrett McLaughlin each scored for SMU as the Mustangs defeated Oakland, 2-1, in the opening game of the SMU Tournament Friday evening at Westcott Field. McLaughlin had a game-high three points to lead the offensive charge for SMU. The Mustangs moved to 2-0 on the season and at home with the win.
