Highlights

• Abdou Mbacke Thiam and Niko Petridis each scored unassisted goals for UConn in the Huskies' 2-0 win over Temple Saturday evening in Philadelphia. UConn remains undefeated against Temple (6-0-3) in nine contests against the Owls.

• Memphis posted its first win over Cincinnati in the Richard Mulrooney era with a 3-1 victory over the Bearcats Saturday evening at Gettler Stadium in the conferene opener for both teams. Three different Tigers scored in the victory. Burke Fahling assisted on two of the three goals.

• Alex Zis scored the golden goal in the 106th minute for USF and the Bulls held off UCF, 3-2 (2OT), in the War on I-4 Saturday evening at Corbett Stadium. Gorka Aperribay opened up the scoring for UCF in the eighth minute and the two teams traded goals until Zis' game-winning talley in double overtime.
