UConn 55, UCF 37

UConn (23-0, 11-0 The American) beat UCF (16-8, 8-3 The American) 55-37 on Wednesday night. Katie Lou Samuelson scored 19 points and Azura Stevens added 12 to help the Huskies remain undefeated. Samuelson, UConn's leading scorer this season, was the only player on the floor to make a 3-pointer in the first half. Samuelson hit three of six from behind the arc. Napheesa Collier produced a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds in the contest.

Zakiya Saunders led UCF with 13 points and Korneila Wright added 12 for the Knights, who outscored UConn 17-7 in the final period, and held the Huskies to its lowest point total of the year. 

USF 88, ECU 47
USF (19-5, 9-2) earned an 88-47 win over ECU (13-11, 5-6 The American) at the Sun Dome Wednesday night. The Bulls had five players reach double-figures, including its two freshmen, who combined for 24 points. Kitija Laksa  led all scorers with 25 points, while Laura Ferreira netted 16 points and finished 71 percent from the floor. Maria Jespersen joined the pair with 12 points. The rookies Alba Prieto and Vanessa Blagmon combined for 24 points and finished 8-for-12 from the floor.

Alex Fraizer finished with a team-best 13 points and the Pirates managed to outrebound the Bulls on the offensive boards 13-16 in the contest.

Houston 66, Memphis 55
Houston (19-6, 8-3 The American) recorded a 66-55 comeback victory over Memphis (7-6, 2-8 The American) Wednesday night. The Coogs forced 25 turnovers while only committing 14 of their own. Jasmyne Harris led all scorers in the contest with 24 points, while her backcourt partner Angela Harris added 19 points to round out all double-digit scorers for the Cougars.

Memphis held a 46-29 advantage on the glass. Alana Davis produced her second double-double wit 13 points and 11 rebounds, while senior forward Cheyenne Creighton led the Tigers with 15 points. 

SMU 74, Tulsa 70
SMU (9-15, 3-8 The American) climbed back from a 15-point deficit at the end of the third quarter to defeat Tulsa (8-16, 2-9 The American), 74-70, on Wednesday night. McKenzie Adams scored 19 of her game-high 28 points over the final 15 minutes, while Johnasia Cash set new career highs in both point and rebounding with 18 and 13, respectively. 

A trio of Golden Hurrican players finished in double-digits including, Morgan Brady (16), Shug Dickson (15) and Erika Wakefield (13). 

Tulane 69, Temple 65
Tulane (12-12, 4-7 The American) shot 64 percent from the field and pulled away from Temple (10-13, 2-8 The American) in a 69-65 victory at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse Wednesday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Tulane and a five-game losing streak against Temple that dated back to 2015. Kolby Morgan scored a game-high 25 points for Tulane, Meredith Schulte scored 14 and Kayla Manuirirangi also reached double figures with 11 points. During the contest, Morgan made her 400th free throw, Wells grabbed her 100th rebound and Harlyn Wyatt got her 400th career rebound.

Tanaya Atkinson finished with a team-high 23 points and eight rebounds, while Mia Davis added 13 points to round out the Owls' double figure scorers.

Cincinnati 75, Wichita State 69
Cincinnati (14-10, 6-5 The American) women's basketball overcame a late deficit to best the Wichita State (10-15, 5-6 The American), 75-69, on Wednesday night inside Charles Koch Arena. A duo of Bearcats scored in double figures. Nikira Goings poured in a career-best 26 points, including five makes from behind the 3-point arc and freshman Iimar'i Thomas added 14 points in the contest.

Rangie Bessard recorded a double-double with a team-best 24 points and 13 rebounds. Diamond Lockhart and Angiee Tompkins each added 14 points for the Shockers.
