Tulsa remains undefeated on its home court, improving its Reynolds Center mark to 6-0 after defeating North Texas in a five-set battle on Wednesday night. After dropping the opening set, the Golden Hurricane battled back, outlasting the Mean Green in the gritty 3-2 thriller. Libero Taylor Horsfall finished the match with 39 digs. She currently owns the team record with 44 digs in a match, set against UCF in October 2017. Outside hitters Emily Thorson (18 kills, 25 digs) and Rachel Moore (12 kills, 11 digs) both recorded double-doubles in the victory. The top of The American’s standings will clash, as the finale of Tulsa's four-match homestand comes on Saturday, hosting Wichita State in the Havoc in the Heartland on September 29 at 7 p.m. ET. The Shockers remain undefeated since joining The American in 2017 with a 22-0 conference mark.
