Highlights
 
- The four American Athletic Conference volleyball teams that clinched a Sunday win completed weekend sweeps, as UCF, Cincinnati, ECU and USF each went 2-0 in Week 2 of conference play. The Knights, Bearcats and Golden Hurricane remain undefeated in conference matches with 3-0 marks.
 
ECU 3, SMU 1
Powered by a career-high 18-kill performance by outside hitter Sydney Kleinman, ECU capped off a strong weekend with a 3-1 victory over SMU inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. The Pirates picked up their first win over the Mustangs since 2008 and the first since joining the American Conference. In addition to her 18 kills, Kleinman turned in a .394 hitting percentage as well as eight digs, two aces and a block.
 
UCF 3, Memphis 0
UCF extended its winning streak to nine matches with a sweep over Memphis. Kristina Fisher was flawless in the attack, as she went for 11 kills on 20 swings for a .550 clip. The Knights hit .309 in the win. UCF holds a 6-0 mark at The Venue and will return home next weekend with matches against Tulsa and Wichita State.
 
Cincinnati 3, Houston 0
Cincinnati used an 18-0 run in the third set to sweep Houston and pick up its second weekend win. The Bearcats held the Cougars to a -.025 hitting percentage in the match and four kills in the final set in which they won, 25-8. Outside hitter Jordan Thompson recorded a .389 hitting percentage, including 10 kills in the final set. She totaled 19 kills with 12 digs for a double-double.
 
USF 3, Tulane 0
USF completed its third-straight 3-0 victory with a win at Tulane. The Bulls were led by middle blocker Clara Payne with a match-high 11 kills on a .348 hitting percentage. Outside hitter Jac'cara Walker had 10 kills and 11 digs for her seventh double-double of the season. The Bulls have won nine-straight sets since last Sunday.
