Houston 8, Memphis 4 (Game 1); Houston 6, Memphis 3 (Game 2)
Houston collected its third conference series victory of the season on Saturday, winning both games of its doubleheader against Memphis. The Cougars opened up the day with an 8-4 victory over the Tigers before taking down Memphis by a score of 6-3 in the second contest. With the doubleheader sweep, Houston has now won its past six conference games, including five-straight overall.

On the day, Houston's offense was led by Maya Thomas, who went a combined 6-for-8 against the Tigers, including a 4-for-4 outing in game two. In game one Sarah Barker put together a 3-for-4 performance and tied her season-high with three RBI. Presley Bell got things going for Houston in game one, giving up five hits and no walks to earn her 10th win of the season. Heebner put together another strong outing in the second game, as her eight strikeouts and one earned run led to her 17th complete game of the year.

Sara Ann Davidson and Ashley Threatt were the only Tigers to record hits in both games, while Regan Hadley and Baylee Smith each had multi-hit games in the finale. Mariah Nichols took the loss in game one, tossing six innings and allowing eight runs (three earned) with four strikeouts. Karli Perque was handed the loss in the second game, allowing two runs (one earned) and five hits with one strikeout in 2.2 innings of work.


Wichita State 11, ECU 5
After trailing by four runs after the top of the first inning, Wichita State climbed back to take the series against ECU with an 11-5 win on Saturday afternoon. Sydney McKinney and Bailee Nickerson led the Shockers with two while driving in three runs each. Caitlin Bingham registered her 13th win of the season after pitching the last six innings and striking out four batters.


Tulsa 6, UCF 0
Tulsa completed a three-game American series sweep of visiting UCF, 6-0, on Saturday behind a 10-strikeout performance from Samantha Pochop and a grand slam by Alexis Perry. Pochop recorded her third double-digit strikeout game of the season for the Golden Hurricane while Perry went 3-for-3 and was a triple shy of hitting for the cycle to go along with a season-high four RBI on her grand slam. Julia Hollingsworth also drove in a pair for Tulsa, which picked up its second conference series sweep of the spring.

The Knights recorded three hits in the loss with Cassady Brewer responsible for two. Denali Schappacher also recorded a hit with a single through the left side. Alea White started the game and took the loss to move to 20-12 on the season, while Ashley Stephenson came in in the third inning and tossed four innings. Stephenson gave up four runs on two hits and walked four.
