Highlights
 
-ECU was the only school in The American to have both its men’s and women’s golf squads in action during the opening weekend of the spring 2020 campaign. The Pirate men traveled to the Sea Best Invitational at the TPC Sawgrass Dye’s Valley Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. ECU posted a three-round total of 872 (301-285-286), led by Blake Taylor in a tie for 22nd place after rounds of 72-71-69=212 (+2). The ECU women began the spring slate at the UCF Challenge at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. The Pirates placed 10th after a three-round score of 876 (298-295-283), powered by a tie for eighth individually by Dorthea Forbrigd. Forbrigd fashioned rounds of 75-70-67=212 to finish at 4-under-par.
 
-Host UCF finished in a tie for sixth at the UCF Challenge at Eagle Creek Golf Club. The No. 36 Knights navigated the par-72, 6,349-yard layout with scores of 292-290-280=862 to close the tournament at 2-under-par. Alyssa Lamoureux fired rounds of 72-70-72=214 for solo 20th place at 2-under, and Tunrada Piddon closed the weekend in a tie for 21st place with a 71-75-69=215 (-1) showing.
 
-SMU played host to the SMU/DAC Invitational on Monday at the Dallas Athletic Club. The Mustangs fired a team total of 336-310=646 during the 36-hole day of play. Competing as an individual, Faith Summers put together rounds of 79-72=151 (+7) to tie for fifth place, while Kennedy Pedigo tied for 11th at 13-over-par (81-76=157).
 
-Tulsa took third place at the SMU/DAC Invitational, improving by 23 strokes in the second round to close the tournament with scores of 325-302=627 on the par-72, 6,151-yard layout at the Dallas Athletic Club. Lorena Tseng shared seventh place at 9-over-par with rounds of 79-74=153, and Sammy Liu finished tied for 11th at 157 (86-71).
