IRVING, Texas – No. 1 seed USF hosts the American Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Championship April 15 and 17 at Corbett Soccer Stadium in Tampa, Fla. All three matches will air live on ESPN+.
 
In the first semifinal, No. 3 seed Cincinnati (4-4-1, 3-3-1 American) takes on second-seeded Memphis (8-2-0, 6-1-0) at 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT on April 15. In the two teams’ matchup during the regular season, Memphis won, 2-0, on Thursday, March 18 behind goals from Kimberley Smit and Lisa Pechersky.
 
This will be the first time the two teams meet up in The American Championship. Memphis captured the crown in 2018, while Cincinnati won in 2015.
 
In the second semifinal, No. 1 seed USF (7-0-2, 6-0-1) hosts fourth-seeded East Carolina (3-5-2, 3-3-2) at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT on April 15. In the regular season meeting on March 7, the Bulls and Pirates were scoreless for the first 83 minutes before Meghan Cavanaugh scored to give USF the 1-0 victory.
 
USF is looking for its third championship title in four seasons (2017, 2019), while East Carolina is seeking its first championship final since joining The American.
 
The championship final is set for Saturday, April 17 at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT.
