IRVING, Texas -- Three American Athletic Conference women's soccer standouts were named All-Americans by the United Soccer Coaches Thursday, May 13. This is the second straight year The American has had three All-Americans.

USF's Sydny Nasello was named to the All-America First Team after being named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Nasello led the conference in goals (6), assists (5), and points (17). She also had four game-winning goals. She scored a brace in the conference championship game and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Offensive Player.

Nasello's teammate, Sydney Martinez, was named to the All-America Second Team after earning conference Goalkeeper of the Year accolades. Martinez tallied six clean sheets, recorded a 0.453 goals against avearge and was the conference tournament's Most Outstanding Defensive Player.

It is the first time in USF's program history that two Bulls earned All-America honors.

Memphis' Tanya Boychuk was also named to the All-America Second Team. Boychuk started all 12 games for the Tigers this season and tied for the team lead with three goals, and she also had an assist. The Edmonton, Alberta, native scored twice in Memphis' 3-2, overtime win at No. 6 Vanderbilt on March 28. Her 96th-minute golden goal gave Memphis its second-ever win over a top-10 opponent.

All three were named to the All-American Athletic Conference First Team.
