ESTERO, Fla. (AP) — Javon Small had 18 points in East Carolina’s 79-65 victory over UT Arlington on Wednesday.

Small added six rebounds and six assists for the Pirates (5-1). RJ Felton scored 16 points and added 13 rebounds. Wynston Tabbs recorded 16 points and was 5 of 10 shooting, including 3 for 5 from distance, and went 3 for 3 from the line.

Kyron Gibson led the way for the Mavericks (3-4) with 13 points. UT Arlington also got 10 points, four assists and three steals from Marion Humphrey.

UCF 76, Evansville 56 - Box Score
ORLANDO, Fla. -- UCF won its fifth-consecutive contest, defeating Evansville, 76-56, on Wednesday night.

Ithiel Horton and Taylor Hendricks led the Knights (5-1) with 16 points apiece. 

The Knights shot 49.1 percent from the field, while holding the Aces to 34.4 percent shooting.

Kenny Strawbridge had 17 points for Evansville.

Cincinnati 81, Louisville 62 - Box Score
LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — David DeJulius hit a 3-pointer from just inside midcourt at the halftime buzzer to give Cincinnati the lead and finished with 26 points for the Bearcats, who beat winless Louisville 81-62 Wednesday to take seventh place at the Maui Invitational.

Louisville had taken a 30-28 lead lead on El Ellis’ jumper with five seconds left, leaving just enough time for DeJulius’ big shot on a fast break for a 31-30 lead.

DeJulius made another 3-pointer in the opening minute of the second half and the Bearcats (4-3) built a double-digit lead by six minutes into the half. DeJulius made 6 of 14 3-pointers.

Landers Nolley II scored 21, Viktor Lakhin 12 and Mika Adams-Woods 10 for the Bearcats.

Brandon Huntley-Hatfield scored 15, Ellis 13 and JJ Traynor 10 for Louisville, which dropped to 0-6 under first-year coach Kenny Payne, a former Cardinals star.

Illinois State 71, Tulane 65 - Box Score
GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands (AP) — Luke Frampton had 19 points in Western Kentucky’s 71-65 win over Tulane on Wednesday.

Frampton also contributed seven rebounds for the Hilltoppers (5-1). Fallou Diagne scored 13 points while shooting 5 for 9, including 2 for 5 from beyond the arc. Emmanuel Akot recorded 11 points and was 3 of 6 shooting (3 for 5 from distance).

Kevin Cross led the Green Wave (4-2) in scoring, finishing with 17 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals. Jaylen Forbes added 14 points and two steals for Tulane. In addition, Collin Holloway had 13 points.

Frampton scored 11 points in the first half and Western Kentucky went into the break trailing 34-29. Western Kentucky outscored Tulane by 11 points in the second half. Diagne led the way with 11 second-half points.

Seton Hall 70, Memphis 69 - Box Score
BAY LAKE, Fla. -- Seton Hall defeated Memphis, 70-69, on a buzzer beating 3-pointer by Tyrese Samuel on the first day of the ESPN Events Invitational on Thanksgiving night.

After two missed free throws by Elijah McCadden with nine seconds left, Jamir Harris stole the ball for Seton Hall to set up the final play.

Kendric Davis led the Tigers (2-2) with 22 points, while Samuel led the Pirates with 14 points.
