SMU and Wichita State each completed a sweep of their opponents this week to increase their winnings streaks. The Pirates and Mustangs have both now won six in a row, while the Shockers have a league-high seven match winning streak, following a sweep of Tulsa.  The Mustangs defeated Rice in five sets to stay in first place in The American volleyball standings. Florida Atlantic and Temple both picked up road wins.
