IRVING, Texas – South Florida women's soccer junior Georgia Brown has been named to the Academic All-America Second Team by the College Sports Communicators, the CSC announced December 20.
Brown, a Highworth, England, native, earned her first CSC Academic All-America honor after being named to the CSC Academic All-District squad earlier this year. The junior finished second on the team with five goals. She added an assist and totaled 11 points on the year. She posted game-winning goals at LSU and the second against Florida College. She is a biomedical sciences major with a 4.0 GPA. Brown became the first USF women's soccer player to earn a CSC Academic All-America honor.
