IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly indoor track & field awards for the week ending Sunday, February 19.
 
Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Naquille Harris, So., Cincinnati
Harris ran a 6.80 60-meter dash at the Alex Wilson Invitational on February 18. The time is the fifth fastest mark in the event in Cincinnati history and good for first place at the Alex Wilson Invitational. It is currently the 8^th fastest time in The American this season.
 
Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
Brady Palen, So., Wichita State
Palen set a new career-mark and tied Wichita State’s 38-year old school record in high jump, clearing a mark of 2.22m (7’3.25”) at the Arkansas Qualifier on February 17. It is tied for the 5^th best mark in NCAA Division I and is tied for the best mark in The American as of February 21.
