KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- FIU's Christie Chue and Maha Gouda both earned All-America honorable mention accolades at the 2023 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships in Knoxville, Tenn.
Gouda finished 14th overall in the platform diving event with a score of 257.05 in the B Final. Chue placed 16th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 59.59 in the B final after posting a mark of 59.10 in the prelims.
The duo become the first pair of teammates to All-America honors since Mykenzie Leehy and Ioanna Sacha of Houston at the 2021 Women's NCAA meet.
