IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the weekly women’s soccer honors for the sixth week of the season.
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Kouri Peace, Gr., F, South Florida
Peace scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in South Florida’s 2-1 win over No. 21 Gonzaga on Sunday. It was the Bulls’ first top-25 win since 2019. Peace assisted on the opening goal in the 49th minute and scored less than two minutes later.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Jodi Smith, Jr., D, Florida Atlantic
Smith led the Owl backline to two shutouts in victories over Temple and FIU. The Florida Atlantic defense only allowed five shots on goal over the two matchers.
 
Goalkeeper of the Week
Emma Wakeman, Sr., Charlotte
Wakeman recorded six saves en route to a clean sheet in Charlotte’s 0-0 draw with South Florida on Thursday.
 
Rookie of the Week
Alexis Miller, F, North Texas
Miller tallied a goal in North Texas’ 6-0 victory over Rice on Thursday night.
 
Weekly Honor Roll
Morgan McDonald, So., M, Florida Atlantic
McDonald scored the game-winning goal in the 22nd minute of Florida Atlantic’s 2-0 victory over Temple on Thursday.
 
Saorla Miller, F, 5th, Memphis
Miller scored the lone goal of Memphis’ 1-0 victory at UTSA on Thursday night in the 43rd minute.
 
Haylee Spray, Sr., D, Memphis
Spray and the Memphis defense only allowed two shots on goal against UTSA in a shutout on Thursday.
 
Devyn Flannery, Sr., F, North Texas
Flannery scored two goals and added an assist in North Texas’ 6-0 victory over Rice.
 
Leire Herraez Gallach, So., GK, South Florida
Gallach made 7 saves in the Bulls’ 2-1 victory over No. 21 Gonzaga and added a save and a shutout in a scoreless draw against Charlotte on Thursday.
