Five American Athletic Conference volleyball teams were in action on Thursday night with Tulsa and South Florida coming away with sweeps.  South Florida defeated IUPUI 3-0 in Vermillion, South Dakota at the South Dakota Tournament. Buse Hazan led all Bulls with eight kills.  South Florida held IUPUI to .000 hitting on the night, forcing 26 attacking errors. 

The Golden Hurricane swept Oral Roberts to begin the Tulsa Invitational on Thursday to pick up their first home win. Kayley Cassaday finished with 18 kills while hitting .304 in the three-set match. Oral Roberts was held to .113 hitting as a team in the loss.
